Tutorial for 767 Captain

I have only just reinstalled the CS 767 and realised just how good it is.

However is there a written tutorial that I can use to help me work through the fairly complex sequences?

I would appreciate  a link or a direction to any tutorial that has been written.

If there is no tutorial formal, or informal, would someone kindly say-so.

If there is one or some, I would be really grateful to get a link - or just a pointer to where I might find it/them.

There isn't one. You could always search on YouTube for one. I came up with these: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=captain+sim+767+tutorial&oq=captain+...

I hope the link I provided works for you. Wink

thanks Mark:  I am a bit of an old fuddy-duddy, so I suspect that my expectation was a paper tutorial.

But the YouTubes are great (some of them) and they are really helpful.

Tim Capps started to do one a couple of years ago, but it never happened (he never finished it, that I know of). You might find it somewhere in here.

I've thought of doing a tutorial, but I worry about getting into trouble for not doing things "by the book". Shocked

Maybe one day. IF I ever feel like I'm in the mood to do it.  Embarrassed

Go for it. First, in one sense it can never be by the book, as the 767 is correctly a two pilot operation.

Second if the publisher never issued a written tutorial there can be no complaint if a user does.

But we fly this model, and other complex airliners as single pilot, so we need a flow that matches our reality, not that of airline operations. Regrettably the PNF/PF stuff just makes it harder for the simmer.

So don't hesitate.

Hi Macca.

You might find something in the 757 threads.
Due to the common cockpit a lot of the 757 stuff can be transferred across.
That's how I found my way around the 767 when I first purchased it.
