Bug List for 767
Jun 28th, 2012 at 10:59pm
Print Post
Is there a bug list published for the 767? — the 757, too, for that matter.

Just wondering, because I can't find anything on the forums about having both COM1 and COM2 working simultaneously. It would be REALLY nice to be able to monitor a second freq.

I started something here but so far no replies from anyone. Maybe the title is not inviting  Grin

Well you did call it My personal wishlist for the 767, so I assumed it was not to be a list added to by other members.

Seeing as you are the Original Poster, you can edit it, and in doing so, change the Topic name. Wink

Hey guys!!  No comment on the COM freqs, or the location of a bug list?

Sometimes I get no respect!  Undecided

Are you kidding me?  Shocked

Namco just gave a link to a thread that has been started to report these issues.

BTW: in FSX the only time you could use 2 com frequencies at the same time MIGHT BE when using VATSIM or another online/multiplayer scenario. Even then I doubt it.

Daryl. It has nothing to do with a lack of respect. Sad

Besides. To sort that out, it is as simple as creating a Keyboard Command for it in Settings > Control > Buttons/ Keys > Event category: Radios (see attached image). I don't use it enough to warrant creating a keyboard command for myself, but if I did, I would probably use "C", which is designated to selecting the Com radios but I don't use anyway.

Mark, Thanks for that! I never realized there was that FSX config for the COM radios — I'll give it a try. The "no respect" comment was a failed attempt at humor, ala the late Rodney Dangerfield.

As for AirCanadaGuy, the link provided had nothing to do with COM radios, it was about ILS freqs, so back atcha with "are you kidding me?" Geez...

And thanks again, Mark. If you could make a living on this forum, you'd be the wealthiest man here!!  Cool

Oops. Humour has trouble coming across in the written word. My apologies for not recognizing it as humour. Sad

I'm just a guy who is happy to try and help.

You would be amazed at what commands you can do in the Settings > Control > Buttons / Keys. It always pays to take a look.
If an addon aircraft is using custom coding, you will probably run into problems with the Keyboard Commands. Sad

You asked if there was a bug list, I figured you would have seen the link Namco posted to a 767 "bugs list", that's what I meant. There is also the 757 5.0 wishlist, and many topics in the 757 4.X / 767 1.X section for different problem reports.

Didn't mean for this to get out of hand, but it's hard to judge someone's tone of voice when it's in writing.  Wink

I tried the COM radio fix Markoz suggested and it works. It also works when on on VATSIM.

The monitoring of both COM1 and COM2 is off, by default, but assigning a keyboard shortcut (I used Shift-C) allows you to enable/disable monitoring of both COM freqs simultaneously.

The 767-200s only have one over wing exit on each side. The CS model has two on each.

767 is a large aircraft to have only 1 over wing exit.

LOL the United 747SP in the background - looks shorter than the 767-200  Grin
