Are there some suggestions for slider settings on an I7 920 using Orbx pnw and/or GEX.

The best advice I can give you is this: Trial and error!
Just try... Set all sliders relatively high, and if your frame rates are too low, set them lower.
Matijs Kok from another company compiled a nice document on selecting the right settings etc a couple of months ago, not specific to any aircraft or scenery. You should be able to find it on their forums.
(Sorry for the reference to competition CS, but it's the best advice I can think of)

I would highly recommend reading what Nick N has to say on setting up FSX here http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041 . I believe it has information relating to settings for computers using I7 processors.

I know that my FSX runs fantastic on my system by following his advice.

The PNW user manual has an entire section dedicated to slider setting for various levels of pcs - 4, if I remember correctly.  Back to old saying, that no one wants to hear - RTM.  Wink
