The flaps take what seems to be over a minute to run from 0 to 40 degrees. They are a problem on initial climb and approach since they cannot move in time to accommodate for changes in speed. According to the aircraft.cfg file it is set to 130 seconds; however, changing this value does not actually speed it up. The correct speed from 0 to 40 is roughly 35-40 seconds as seen in the following video where the flaps go from what is flaps 40 or at least 30 to fully retracted in 35 seconds from timestamp 9:09 to 9:44.
