Title: B737 Various Fixes Gauge
Post by fsxpaul on Feb 2nd, 2013 at 4:41pm
I have compliled a gauge that includes 4 fixes for Captain Sim B737-200/ADV.

1. APU and Ground Power (CS737_ApuGenGrdPwrMod)
2. Autopilot Disconnect buttons on both yokes  (CS737_ApYokeDisc)
3. Autopilot Disconnect Warning Lights (CS737_ApButtnLt)
4. Yaw Damper Light (CS737_YawDampLt)

Each gauge can be selectively installed in the panel.cfg file.
A simulated charging circuit that will charge a flat battery is included.

Now available in the Avsim Library, search for: Boeing 737-200/Adv Various Fixes

I'm with CoolP and Tanya.

Please come back. We really do appreciate the mods. Unfortunately, I got hooked on the 777 when it was released a couple of weeks ago. :( :( :(

Holy cow ! I was just at the point to give this one a try, especially for the yaw damper when I see this.
I do appreciate a lot your work, as all of us in this forum and it would be more than sad to see you leaving.
Any sign would be great.
Many thanks and hope to read from you soon, Lex

I contacted Paul via email to find out what happened. It is deliberate. And this is why:

Quote:
I brought all of my V-One gauges up to a satisfactory completion level and have no plans to further develop any of them.

Done.

I had my 15 minutes of fame, time to own up to other responsibilities now.

It's a real pity that he has decided to remove his account completely, but I have to agree that his home and family must come first.

Let's just hope that he will return at a later date.

Thanks for clarifying, Mark. Right you are, the family things come first.

Well, check out Paul's new tweaks, mods and corrections. They are well worth it.  :)

I downloaded his V-One for the 707. Excellent piece of addon, it greatly enhances, now I know my speeds for takeoff, N1 settings plus the call outs. This requires work time till late hours...easy to fall short in other areas.

Why did he remove the account? It seems he is feeling upset by something that has happened on forum. That's a pity! :(

Pinatubo.

Pinatubo.

I got the same feeling, but it was in a PM he sent to me. I went to respond to it, but by then he had deleted his account. Because of that, I decided to contact him via email (Facebook is too public for my likes) and that was his reply.

Sadly, I still feel he is upset. Not only that, I feel he is upset with me, because I neglected to provide feedback on the latest updates for his gauges. Unfortunately, I had gotten too involved with testing the CS777 v1.0 when it was released.

I really hope he comes back, because I really do appreciate all the hard hard work he put into those V-One gauges.  :'(

You have even realized personal wishes (regarding my request for the V-speed-bugs)  ;) - thanks a lot especially for that too !

So I'm a little sad, to hear, that it seems, we can't expect more of Your very useful work;   :o hope You'll come back soon !  ;)

However - thanks again,
best wishes for You and Your family,
                     kind regards !

You know, I still havent fully mastered the 707 and explored all the systems and flight plans. But when I saw V-One enhance available and I tried it, and saw the one for the beloved 737-200, that was the spark to go and buy it. Thought more was coming cause he obviously has valuable knowledge...
