Title: Invalid Entry ZFW and GW
Post by Matt CX744 on Dec 31st, 2012 at 3:49am
Hi

The FMC will not except any entries in the ZFW box. I have tried the various weights that are within the specified band but no success. Have tried the figure in Kilos and Pounds.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Matt

Check the weights and make sure that the GW and/or ZFW are below the maximum.

This is the listing in the aircraft.cfg for the CS 767-300 (in pounds):
max_gross_weight=413000
max_zf_weight=295000

Have tried those ranges and no success, it appears also to be an issue on the CS757  I have with 'Invalid Entry' displayed for an input in ZFW or GW.

I have 744 and 737NGX from another sim provider with no issues in this field.

I will try a full reinstall of both products.

A bit late I know but for both CS 757 and 767 you have to type in the FMS the MTOW (if so you wish) less a tiny fraction. IF you round up to the listed MTOW the FMS won't accept it and show invalid parameter instead. So if your listed MTOW is 382'000 LBS (762) type in 381.9 in the FMS or if MTOW is 413'000 LBS (763) type in 412.9 in FMS
