Title: KC-767 Wing Pods
Post by Arctic Cat ZRT on Jun 7th, 2012 at 10:37pm
Hello Everyone!,

Today I bought the KC-767 tanker and I have two different questions.

1st How do I display the wing pods for refueling. I am able to bring up the control panel and work the main boom and center trailing boom. I have not however been able to make the pods show up. I have not found anything in the manual or on the internet pertaining to add these pods to the model. I really hope I am just missing something big!

2nd Every once and awhile some animation appear when I load the aircraft and don't disappear even when clicking them on the animation editor. I have heard that loading a default plane before the add-on plane works. Now do I have to load it into the game, or just in the selection screen for it to help?

Thanks for the help, if I did anything wrong in terms of posting please let me know. Also if any of my questions were answered else where let me know.

Best Regards,
Cat

The Italian Tanker has them, while the Japanese Tanker does not.

In the aircraft.cfg, you can change them by using the following:

model=kc_ita - has fuel pods
model=kc_jpn - does not have wing pods

Tip: If you add winglets to the Italian aircraft, you will not see the wing pods. You cannot have them both. It's either winglets OR fuel pods. ;)

Just make it the default aircraft you see on the start screen. Mine is the C172, so I start FSX, I see the C172, then I switch to another aircraft (like the KC-767A) and click FLY NOW.
