RapidShare went through a period where if a file had not been downloaded for a month, it was deleted. I had to download my own files once a month just to keep them available. I'm guessing that kiniu didn't do that, and/or never got the warnings that they were about to be deleted. :(

Thank goodness that RapidShare have gone back to leaving them up there permanently. But that doesn't change that his got deleted.
